Young Disciples' Time

During the Sunday morning worship service a special "sermon" is given by the pastor for the children. They meet at the front of the church on the steps leading up to the pulpit. The day's scripture readings are explained in a way the children can understand. After a short prayer, the children are dismissed to Sunday School for the remainder of the service.

Nursery

Nursery care is available on the main classroom level of our church during the Sunday morning worship service so that parents may give full attention to their worship time. If a nursery worker is not in the classroom area when you arrive, please contact one of our ushers in the sanctuary. Nursury care may also be provided during other church activities; please check with the church office about your needs.

Vacation Bible School

Summertime brings beautiful weather and Vacation Bible School to Whitefish. VBS is usually held the 3rd or 4th week of June and lasts approximately three hours on 4 - 5 consecutive weekday mornings. The combined efforts of Whitefish United Methodist and First Presbyterian churches make this special mission to Whitefish's children possible.

The theme this year is Galactic Blast - A Cosmic Adventure Praising God! At Galactic Blast VBS, your cadets will voyage into outer space praising God. Through daily missions, your kids will see space like never before, gain a new perspective on our planet Earth, and learn easy "green" earth tips they can practice at home. This cosmic combination of faith and fun will have your cadets developing a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. You will not want to miss it.
